A Night At The Opera

"Is it my imagination or is it getting crowded in here ? " Groucho Marx

A Night at the Opera is a 1935 musical comedy starring the Marx Brothers. It is considered to be the Max Brother’s best and most popular of their thirteen films. In 1993, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”. The film combines slapstick (payasadas), talk and musical numbers.
Tenor Rodolfo Lassparri is chasing after (persiguiendo) his fellow opera singer Rosa Castaldi. But Rosa is in love with Ricardo Baroni, an unknown (desconocido) tenor who is more talented than Lassparri. The Marx Brothers help the two lovers to succeed in love and as opera singers. To that end ( Para ese fin) , they wreak havoc (causan confusión/estragos ) on the actors, the sets, the musicians and even the police.
A Night at the Opera is filled with classic moments, like the people pilling into the stateroom (camarote)  (and Groucho Marx’s famous line “Is it my imagination, or is it getting crowded (llenandose de gente) in here?”), the bedroom furniture being moved from room to room and the finale at the opera, when the police try to arrest Harpo during the performance.
