I promised myself to organize the drawer of mismatched socks and put them always in pairs when washing.

I would appreciate correction to the comments.

A great resolution ! One of the keys[1] to learning a language is to maintain constant contact with it. This means that if you want to have a good level of English, you need to practise regularly. Apart from working on your English course, you can also do other activities that will help you improve[2] and consolidate your English. Typical suggestions are watching films in English and listening to songs by your favourite groups and translating[3] the lyrics[4], but you can learn a lot of vocabulary from many other sources[5]. Read magazines in English, get brochures[6] for tourists visiting your country, find web sites in English about a topic you are interested in etc..

[1] key: clave [2] to improve: mejorar [3] to translate: traducir [4] lyrics: letra (de una canción) [5] source: fuente (de información) [6] brochure: folleto
PD. Remember we say: I promise myself TO.. OR: I promise THAT..

I must confess that I share my first resolution with the majority of the world's population: I have to lose weight as soon as possible...
Why does kilograms like our body this terrible way?

But I think this time will be different and I will get slim with my last Christmas gift: the Wii Fit!
